National Opera Studio Director, Kathryn Harries will be hosting a concert in memory of Elizabeth Connell.
No sooner than we had all returned to the studio at the start of 2013 than we were packing our bags, wheelie cases, hat boxes and make up crates (and that was just the tenors) and heading to the first of two residencies.
In Cardiff after an exciting week of work we gave a gala evening concert of opera accompanied by the acclaimed Orchestra of Welsh National Opera performing excerpts from Don Pasquale, Le Nozze di Figaro, Eugene Onegin and Carmen.

Now we are preparing to travel north, to spend a week in Glasgow with Scottish Opera. The week-long course will culminate in a free public performance at the Theatre Royal Glasgow on Friday 22 February at 6pm. Accompanied by The Orchestra of Scottish Opera, this semi-staged performance offers the chance to see up-and-coming singers perform arias and scenes from a variety of operas including La bohème,
Cosi fan tutte, Carmen and Don Giovanni. For more information click here.
The event is free but ticketed, reserve your tickets now on 0844 871 7647
The National Opera Studio is grateful to The Ian Smith of Stornoway Legacy and The Scottish Opera Endowment Trust for their support of this residency.
