NATIONAL OPERA STUDIO
The National Opera Studio works closely with the UK’s leading opera companies to provide individually designed, high quality professional training for singers and repetiteurs who have the potential to become the leading artists of their generation.
Oxford Lieder exists to promote and celebrate song. Each year it puts on The Oxford Lieder Festival, an extravaganza of song which takes place in the last two weeks of October. There is also an emphasis on finding outstanding new talent, and Oxford Lieder promotes a platform for young singers and accompanists at the start of their careers.
NICHOLAS JOHN TRUST
The Nicholas John Trust was created in memory of Nicholas John (1952-1996), formerly the Dramaturge of English National Opera. The Trust exists to promote the art of opera, in particular by encouraging the work of young singers and dramaturges. The Trust is proud of its long association with the NOS, where it offers scholarships and other opportunities for students preparing for a career in opera.
