On any given night of the year NOS Alumni may be found heading the cast lists of opera houses throughout the United Kingdom and world-wide including; The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, The Metropolitan Opera, New York, Teatro Colón, Buenos Aires, Deutsche Oper, Berlin, and La Scala, Milan.

The repetiteurs trained at the NOS now form a large percentage of the music staffs of the major companies, both nationally and internationally. An appreciable number have moved on to appointments as Conductors and Heads of Music.
