Mandy Demetriou is originally from Zimbabwe and has worked as a dancer, teacher, choreographer and performer in a wide variety of styles and methods. Her passion is dance and movement and she has worked with dancers, actors, singers and musicians hoping to inspire them with a little of the delight she has found from working in this field. She has been fortunate to have had as her mentors both Sheila Barlow and Anna Sweeny who have encouraged her to find her own style of teaching movement and now she concentrates on teaching and choreography. She works at the National Opera Studio, Royal Academy of Music, Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House.
