Ouri
studied and worked as staff accompanist in the Conservatoire of Lausanne
(Switzerland). He then decided to come to London, and studied at the
Royal College of Music with Roger Vignoles, John Blakely and John Constable.
During his two years at the RCM, Ouri played for all the main vocal
masterclasses and won the accompanist prizes of the English Song and
Lies Askonas competitions.
During 2006-2007, Ouri was a trainee at the National Opera Studio, supported
by the Friends of Covent Garden, a Nelly Gronen Bursary and John Wates.
Ouri worked in England with the the Royal Opera House, European Opera
Centre, ETO, Royal College of Music Opera, Classical Opera Company and
Riverside Opera. He also worked for the Bregenz Festspiele. Recent projects
include Stravinsky’s “ Rake’s Progress” for
the RCM, Donizetti’s “Emilia di Liverpool” for the
European Opera Centre as well as coaching for the International Opera
Studio in Amsterdam.
