He has sung the roles of Banquo in Macbeth, Ramphis in Aida, Kecal in The Bartered Bride, The King in Ariodante, Zuniga in Carmen, Frere Laurent in Romeo and Juliet, Sarastro in The Magic Flute, Masetto and The Commendatore in Don Giovanni and he appeared in the London Premier of Judith Weirs A Night at the Chinese Opera.

He has been supported by The Countess of Munster Trust, The Sir James Caird Travelling Scholarship, The Robertson Trust, The Cross Trust, The Scottish International Educational Trust, The Musicians Benenvolent Fund, and the Royal Academy of Music.
