Carlos Fidalgo tenor

Carlos studies singing with Nicolas Christou. He was a finalist in The National Zarzuela Singing Contest in Murcia Spain and also a finalist in the National Lyric singing Contest in Beziers France. Last year he participated in the Swansea City Opera Masterclass given by David Syrus. Carlos is supported at The National Opera Studio by a scholarship from The Royal Opera.

His most recent engagements include Pinkerton for Opera en plein air, the title role in Samson and Delilah in Valladolid, Edgardo for Pavilion Opera, Opera Recitals with London Festival Opera and Gastone for (Traviata) for Greenwich Park Opera in Lauderdale House, a Zarzuela Concert in Ealing London, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle with L’Ensemble Vocal Christine Pallard in Paris, Opera Recitals in Strasbourg, London and Asti (Italy), Mozart’s C minor Mass in Paris and Avignon, Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Requiem, Schubert’s G major Mass and Vivaldi’s Magnificat in Paris.   
 
Previously Carlos has given Opera Recitals in Torino, Gounod’s St. Cecilia’s Mass in Avallon(France) and Istein (Germany), Opera Recital with the French baritone Laurent Naouri in Auxerre(France), Donizetti’s Requiem in Lyon, Mozart’s Mass in B minor in Sissach (Switzerland), Schubert’s Mass in G major in León and Ponferrada (Spain), J. S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio  in Oviedo (Spain), Premieres of  El Cristo de la Urna and  Virgin de la Soledad de Sahagún  composed by  Juan Blasco and Jesús Blasco  and J.S.Bach’s  Cantata BVW 70 in León(Spain).
