Verity Parker soprano

Born on the Wirral, Verity studied at the RNCM under Susan Roper and GSMD. She now studies with Arwel Treharne Morgan. Verity is also a Samling Scholar. Operatic experience includes: Nannetta Falstaff (GPO);The Controller Flight (BYO); Johanna Sweeny Todd (Pimlico Opera); cover Gianetta L’elisir d’amore (GTO); Marzelina Fidelio (Jerwood Scenes, GFO) and excerpt performances of Zerbinetta Ariadne of Naxos and Lucia di Lammermoor. Verity has been a member of the lyndebourne Festival Chorus and sang in the chorus of Britten’s Peter Grimes at the Salzburg Festival. Concert work includes: recitals at St-Martin-in-the-Fields and Glyndebourne Wessex Society, Carmina Burana at Snape Maltings and Haydn’s Nelson Mass under Wilcocks. Future engagements include: Venus Orpheus and the Underworld (OHP) and cover Adina L’elisir d’amore (Scottish Opera).
