Elizabeth Rossiter repetiteur

Pianist Elizabeth Rossiter recently completed her studies at the Guildhall School, graduating with Distinctions in both PGDip and MMP in accompaniment.  She was then the Accompaniment Fellow there, and subsequently studied as a repétitéur on the Opera Course.  She continues to have lessons with pianist Charles Owen. 

She has given concerts at the Barbican, Wigmore, Bridgewater and Queen Elizabeth Halls, the Purcell Room, the Crush Room of the Royal Opera House, King’s Place, St Martin in the Fields and a Composer Focus Prom at the Royal Albert Hall, broadcast on BBC Radio 3.  She recently performed on Radio 3’s In Tune and on BBC TV, Granada TV and Channel 4.  She was both a Park Lane Group and a Britten-Pears Young Artist, and competition successes include the Pianists’ Prize at the Patricia Routledge National English Song Competition, Second Prize in the Chelsea Schubert Festival Song Duo Prize, and the Queen Mary II Accompaniment Prize at Guildhall. Her studies have been kindly supported by the scholarships from the Guildhall, the MBF, Cordwainer’s Company, the Worshipful Company of Habidashers, The Music Students’ Hostel Trust, Tobacco Pipe Makers’ Salzman Award and the Thomas Wall Trust.  She has had regular coaching from Graham Johnson and Iain Burnside and has recently had coaching with Helmut Deutsch, Roger Vignoles, Bengt Forsberg, Sir Thomas Allen, Gerald Finley and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.
