Why support the NOS
The generous financial support from the Opera Companies and the Arts Council covers just over half of the costs of providing training at this level of excellence. This means that we need to raise £250k each year from individuals, companies, trusts and foundations who share our vision for the development of exceptional young artists.
Our primary fundraising objective is to secure scholarships and bursaries for our Young Artists. Typically, Young Artists will already have completed many years of education at university and/or music college and may have exhausted their sources of financial support. Our aim is to ensure that the fees for Young Artists are supported by grants and donations. Many Young Artists also need help with their living costs while they are at the NOS.
If you would like to offer your support to the National Opera Studio or its trainees, please contact the Development Officer, Curro Ramos-Zaldívar by email or on 020 8874 8811.
The NOS is supported by Arts Council
England, English National Opera, Glyndebourne, Opera North, Royal Opera, Scottish Opera and Welsh National Opera.
We are grateful to the very many people and organisations who have supported us in recent years.
