The National Opera Studio receives an Arts Council England: London grant which forms about 32% of the income needed to run the NOS, therefore a significant amount of its income comes from trusts, foundations and individual donors. In addition to its own running costs, the NOS seeks to help young musicians obtain the support they need to take part in its programme.

A total of £350,000 has to be raised each year to continue the training of talented young artists. The NOS is grateful for support from both individual and corporate donations.
