British baritone Jevan McAuley studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama under the tutelage of David Pollard. His operatic roles include the title role in Don Giovanni (Rogue Opera), Baritone Soloist Bernstein à la carte (Wexford Festival Opera), Guglielmo Così fan tutte (Opera Holloway & King’s Head Theatre), Tom Un ballo in maschera (Iford Arts), Sid Albert Herring (Guildhall School), and covering the roles of Pallante Agrippina (The Grange Festival), Fiorello Il barbiere di Siviglia (The Grange Festival), Morales Carmen (The Grange Festival), Belcore L’elisir d’amore (Into Opera Festival), and Achilla Giulio Cesare (Bury Court Opera).
Jevan is an Opera Prelude Young Artist, and in March this year won the 2020 Opera Prelude Singers Prize.
During the Summer Season of 2020 Jevan was scheduled to be performing the roles of Zeretsky & The Captain in Eugene Onegin for Opera Holland Park, this has unfortunately been postponed due to COVID-19.
Jevan is supported by a Sybil Tutton Opera Award.
