Our warmest congratulations to Brindley Sherratt, who has recently been named as The Grange Festival’s Artistic Director ahead of its 10th anniversary year. He succeeds Michael Chance, who held the position from the festival’s inception in 2016 until 2026.
Brindley has served on our Sounding Board since 2021 and has provided invaluable advice, masterclasses and coachings to the Studio as we continue to develop our offer early-career opera artists.
A world-renowned bass, Brindley continues to perform on some of opera’s greatest stages. Tomorrow, he performs the role of Gurnemanz in Evgeny Titov’s new production of Wagner’s Parsifal at the Royal Ballet & Opera.
“I am enormously thankful to the team at The Grange Festival for welcoming me with open arms as I take on the role of Artistic Director.” “I am looking forward hugely to working with the creative and administrative teams, as well as all the incredible line-up of artists who appear each year at this wonderful festival.” – The Grange Festival
