Young Artist Spotlight: Su Choung

Ahead of our residency with Welsh National Opera, we caught up with Young Artist repetiteur Su Choung to hear about her journey at NOS so far. She shared how she discovered her passion for opera, reflected on the impact of our residencies, and offered insights into life as a repetiteur.

A documentary, produced almost entirely in quarantine, exploring creative processes, isolation and digital connections premiering 17 November on OperaVision.

Carmen – A BSL interpreted opera with the choir of Burntwood School

This specially abridged version of one of the world's most popular operas featured four rising operatic stars from the National Opera Studio and members of Burntwood's acclaimed choral ensembles. With key highlights woven together into a seamless narrative and Bizet's stunning music brought to life by an exceptional pianist, this was an evening to remember.
