The National Opera Studio is a world leader in the training of young opera singers and repetiteurs who are on the verge of launching their professional careers. Each year, we accept up to twelve singers and four repetiteurs into our Young Artists' Programme. The limited size of our cohort ensures that our training is tailored to each individual, fostering a strong sense of company identity.
Our Young Artists' Programme, delivered in collaboration with the six full-time UK opera companies, is a comprehensive nine-month course designed to provide Young Artists with all the necessary skills for success. Our Young Artists receive top-tier musical, vocal, and language coaching, training in stagecraft and physical disciplines, valuable performance opportunities, substantial professional exposure, resilience coaching, and much more.
Applications are open to singers and repetiteurs from around the world.
