In partnership with the UK’s leading opera companies, the National Opera Studio provides world-class training to young opera singers and repetiteurs who are on the verge of launching their professional careers.

    Young Artist Programme

    Our comprehensive nine-month training programme, delivered in collaboration with the six full-time UK opera companies, is designed to provide Young Artists with all the necessary skills for success.

    The National Opera Studio Academy offers free training to UK-based singers aged 19-25 with exceptional potential who may have faced educational or professional barriers.

    Short Courses & Workshops

    The Studio offers an exciting and diverse range of short courses led by its world-class coaches. Courses include group teaching and extensive one-to-one tuition, vocal coaching, character and text analysis, movement and body language and communicative skills.

Spaces for Hire

The National Opera Studio has a range of multipurpose, air conditioned spaces available to hire throughout the year.

Each room has a minimum of one piano and a full length mirror, and you can hire out individual rooms or the whole building.
