Ruth supports the operational and administrative functions of the National Opera Studio. She is responsible for the smooth running of the building’s spaces and provides overall administrative support for operations, projects and performances, including the NOS auditions and Short Courses. Ruth also manages the booking process for the hiring out of our building’s spaces.

After graduating from King’s College London in 2018, where she was a choral scholar, Ruth has primarily worked in education and hospitality management. Ruth has directed and produced a number of productions including Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Mozart’s Apollo et Hyacinthus and has fond memories of performing in a number of Britten’s children’s operas as a child. She has continued with casual freelancing work since, and has recently completed a Masters in Law from the University of Bristol. 

Ruth enjoys playing rugby and absolutely loves dogs!
