The Royal Opera strives to present the very finest singers in the world, wherever they come from. But it is special moment when a home-grown young singer makes it to our Young Artist Programme, our off-site or Linbury productions, or to our mainstage productions. More often than not, that young singer has been through the National Opera Studio – a tribute to its best-in-class efficacy as a training organisation, and to its continued (and central) importance to the UK opera ecology
