The professionalism and passion shown by those working at the Studio created an amazing working and learning environment. This ethos is something that I will carry forward with me into my profession. There are so many points of good practice within the NOS, they strive to nurture those who have a love for performing, and are passionate about making opera more accessible moving forward.

Each intern typically contributes to one or more key strands of activity, working with one or more NOS managers to expand and enhance our research and systems. more often than not taking on a project that is tailored around the interest of the individual intern. Recent internships have included creating an alumni records database, implementing a new cataloguing system for the NOS Library and contributing to the running of summer short courses.
