My time at NOS was invaluable. To have the opportunity to focus intensively on specific roles and languages, to work with movement directors and above all, to learn from some of the most experienced people in our profession, be they singers, directors, coaches or conductors at such a crucial stage in a young singer's career, meant that I was then able to go in to the profession feeling very well prepared.

NOS alumni have a high reputation in the UK and abroad. Recent research into our alumni shows us that 96% of singers have been employed by the six major UK opera companies and over 73% have had international success in over 56 countries, on major world platforms including Teatro alla Scala, Metropolitan Opera New York, Berlin Staatsoper, The Bolshoi, Opéra national de Paris, Wiener Staatsoper, Sydney Opera House and Teatro Colón, to name just a few. Our repetiteur alumni are running festivals, opera houses, choirs and orchestras all over the world, and sit on the senior artistic and music staff of all of our partner companies.
