Aleksander Kaczuk-Jagielnik is a baritone, born into a family with artistic traditions, as the son of photographer Piotr Jagielnik and painter Agata Kaczuk-Jagielnik.
He completed his bachelor's studies (2017-2021) in the Vocal Department of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, under the guidance of Prof. Bogdan Makal. Currently, he is pursuing his master's degree in singing and acting at the Wrocław Academy of Music. In October 2022, he joined the Young Talent Development Program, Opera Academy at the Teatr Wielki, at the Polish National Opera in Warsaw.
His musical journey began at the Primary and Secondary Music School in Gorzów Wielkopolski under the tutelage of Dr. Beata Gramza. Notably, he achieved Third Prize at the International Danubia Singing Competition 2022 in Budapest and Third Prize at the 7th International Musicians-Performers Competition ‘Performers of the 21st Century’ in Moscow in March 2021. Additionally, he is a laureate of various Polish National Singing Competitions, including First Prize in the fifth Halina Słonicka National Vocal Competition in Suwałki, and 2nd Prize in the 11th Ludomir Różycki National Singing Competition in Gliwice, where he received the highest score of 25 points and was awarded at the CEA Macroregional Contest 2017.
As part of the Young Talent Development Program - Opera Academy, he has honed his skills under the guidance of outstanding teachers like Izabella Kłosińska, Olga Pasiecznik, Michał Biel, Mariusz Kwiecień, Sophia Muños, Tobias Truniger, Maciej Pikulski, Dearbhla Collins, Elaine Kidd, Rosemary Joshua, Edith Wiens, and Hedwig Fassbender. He has also attended numerous masterclasses with renowned artists such as Eytan Pessen, Aleksandra Kurzak, Francesco Bottigliero, Sabina Martinaityte, and Jarosław Bręk.
In recognition of his talent, he has received three artistic scholarships from the Gorzów Wielkopolski City Mayor. His enthusiasm and active involvement in the arts have led him to participate in various artistic projects and organize his own, inviting young Polish artists such as Paweł Popko, Michał Skowronek, and Bartłomiej Malarz. This has resulted in creating projects like CHOPINstories, Polish Music for Voice and Piano, and Italian Arias Recital. Despite his young age, he has already performed frequently and participated in opera projects both in Poland and abroad. Since December 2020, he is also a member of the Gorzów Music Society.
