Trusts and Foundations

Grants from trusts and foundations play a crucial role in enabling us to continue our work and to expand it into new areas.

From training and professional development for young artists, working with alumni and mid-career talent, initiating wide-reaching programmes to address diversity in opera and our work in outreach and the local community, the breadth of our work is made possible by the continuing generosity and commitment of trusts and foundations.

We are deeply grateful to the many trusts and foundations currently supporting our work.

Idlewild Trust believes that NOS offers emerging and talented singers an extraordinarily rich opportunity to develop necessary skills at a crucial time in their development as artists. NOS’s close ties with opera companies at home and abroad, along with its highly specialist coaching and experience at selecting great singers, has a very positive impact on the artists that is clear to see.

Rachel Oglethorpe
Director, The Idlewild Trust
